The road to this point for me has been a long one and at one point included the phrase, "I don't think I'd ever be a missionary". Through my experiences over the last 8 years, God has slowly but surely opened my heart to the Haitian people and raised up a desire to help spread the good news of His Gospel there. I hope to use my gift and experience of teaching in this capacity and am excited to see how God will use our family and team in this new environment.

God placed a desire in my heart to participate in cross-cultural ministry over 15 years ago. I have a desire to see the gospel transform lives. I have a passion for sustainable, empowering compassion ministries that point people to the truth of Jesus Christ. God is answering my heart's desire and I cannot wait to be used by Him in this capacity.


Family

Meet the Thompson Children: Kate (5) brings humor and joy to our family. Her spunk, dancing skills, and cuddles warm our hearts. Eloise (8) brings order and sensibility to our family. Her sense of adventure and love of Haiti inspire us. Luke (11) brings empathy and sensitivity to our family. Watching him grow into a mighty man of God brings us great pride and joy.
